I just bought this new dress from Abercrombie & Fitch today! Trying to decide whether to return it or wear it to go out for Dim Sum with friends this weekend. I might just keep it since my BFF got the same dress in navy blue so we can match on Saturday along with the same BCBG purses we bought in different colors. People already think we’re twins, so it’ll be cute haha.

Anonymous asked: Hi, I was just wondering if maybe you could answer this question for me haha, I just applied at Hollister, and I selected February 7th for an interview.. So do I just show up at Hollister on February 7th or will they call me before then? Thanks for your time :)
Haha sure! They’re supposed to call you the day before your interview date, but the managers usually forget so just show up on February 7th at the interview time. No problem, i’m glad to help (:
Anonymous asked: do you know what questions they ask you for the a&f interview?
There’s a list of generic questions that they have but they’ll only ask you 3 or 4. Some of the questions are basically:
1. How would you describe the A&F style and what makes it different from other brands?
2. What does diversity mean to you and why is it important in the workplace?
3. Give an example of a personal experience where you helped to include someone.
4. If your friends had to describe you in 3 words, what would they be? Give examples of how you show these traits.
5. How would you describe yourself?
6. What qualities do you have that would make you fit for the job of impact/model?
7. Give an example of when you worked in a team.
Anonymous asked: did you have prior work experience before a&f?
nope, it’s my first job! i’ve been working for a&f for about a year now.
Anonymous asked: So I seriously want the job at abercrombie and I'm really scared to interview and I think imma wait till I'm 18. But what did you wear to your interview? sorry this is so random but I guess your the only person i can ask.
haha it’s no problem, i’d be glad to help! (:
aw the interview really isn’t that bad. i think you should go for it now if you want the job; it’s a good experience!
haha for my interview, i wasn’t really well-informed about what to wear so i wasn’t in the correct look policy at all ): i had a green plaid shirt, bootcut jeans, and uggs on. and i also wore a lot of mascara and eyeliner, which you’re not supposed to wear at all. but in the end, they hired me right then so i didn’t have to wait to get a phone call.
so i guess what you’re wearing isn’t that big of a factor, although it would help.
Anonymous asked: you work at abercrombie? impact or model? any tips to get the job?
Yeah, I work as a model at abercrombie kids.
The most important thing is the way you look, even if you’re interviewing for an impact position. Try to abide by the look policy which means if you’re a guy, make sure you’re clean-shaven. If you’re a girl, wear natural looking make up or don’t wear any at all. Make sure your hair is down and natural. Wear clothes similar to what the models in the store have on.
You should come off as outgoing and approachable. Know that the abercrombie style is casual luxury. They’ll ask you the typical interview questions, but also a question about diversity and what it means to you. It means the differences in race, gender, and also personality but being able to embrace those differences and work together to create a positive environment for other employees and the customers.
